Compare Neow’s offer with the starting deck and visible route before choosing. The strongest long-term reward on the screen may do nothing before the first elite. An immediate benefit can be preferable when it lets the deck reach the next reward safely.
Separate immediate and delayed effects
Precise Scissors removes one card immediately. The benefit is more frequent access to the remaining cards, not direct extra damage or healing. Check which starter can be removed without leaving the early deck short of attacks or defense.
Arcane Scroll gives a random rare card. A useful rare can establish a direction, but the result is uncertain. After receiving it, read its costs and dependencies before selecting later rewards around it. Rarity alone does not mean the starting deck can already exploit the card.
Silver Crucible upgrades the first three card rewards you see and empties the first treasure chest. Its upside arrives through those rewards, so evaluate whether you expect to take useful cards from them. An upgraded card that does not improve the deck is still skippable. Include the lost chest in the comparison rather than counting only the improved rewards.
Relic activation timing
Lava Rock makes the Act 1 boss drop two relics. It provides a later reward, not protection against the fights needed to reach that boss. If early survival is the main weakness, compare it with an offer that helps immediately.
Booming Conch starts elite combats with two extra cards and one extra energy. Its benefit is specifically tied to elites. That can support a route with prepared elite fights, but it does not provide the same opening assistance in ordinary rooms or the boss fight.
Merchant access and potion slots
Golden Pearl grants 150 gold. Look at shop access and what the deck needs to buy. Gold can fund a removal, potion or improvement, but until it is spent it has not changed the next attack. A route that forces a difficult fight before the shop reduces the immediate usefulness of that money.
Phial Holster provides a potion slot and two random potions. Inspect the potions after choosing it. Assign them a job in the upcoming fights instead of treating the extra slot as the whole reward. Potions that change an elite’s difficult turn can make a route possible without requiring an ideal card drop.
Route changes after Neow
Make the first route decision using the result you actually received. A random card or potion can change the sensible branch. Do not keep following a preselected archetype merely because the opening offer looked promising. For further decisions, use route planning and when to remove starter cards.
