Steam achievements are planned for Slay the Spire 2’s version 1.0 release. Mega Crit confirmed that timing in its August 2026 Neowsletter. During the current Early Access release, use the game’s run-end Badges, Timeline and Ascension progression for completion goals.
Run-end Badges
Badges describe accomplishments within a run. Some require a victory, while others describe an action completed during combat. Read that distinction before building around the objective.
| Badge | Objective | Help |
|---|---|---|
| C-c-c-Combo | Play 20 cards in one turn. No victory required. | Energy and draw and repeatable loops. |
| Small Deck / Tiny Deck / Miniscule | Win with at most 20 / 10 / 5 permanent cards. | Miniscule removal budget and five-card packages. |
| Big Deck / Huge Deck / Monster Deck | Win with at least 40 / 60 / 100 permanent cards. | Monster Deck: Clone growth, extra rewards and Reflections. |
| Tablet of Truth | Win with exactly one Max HP. | Event costs, opening defense and disqualifying Max HP gains. |
| Flawless / Supreme / Perfect | Defeat 1 / 2 / 3 bosses without losing HP in those fights. No run victory required. | Perfect: prevention, multi-hit attacks and qualifying boss results. |
| Speedy / Speedier / Speediest | Win in under 50 / 40 / 30 minutes. | Speediest: route decisions and the actual run timer. |
| Double Snecko | Obtain both the real Snecko Eye and Snecko Eye???. No victory required. | Darv, the fake Merchant and collection conditions. |
| Curses! | Win with at least five Curses. | Card access and removal decisions. |
| Damage Leader | Deal the most enemy damage in multiplayer. | Co-op roles and shared resources. |
| Debuffer | Apply the most debuffs in multiplayer. | Co-op coordination and Doom timing. |
The deck-size goals count permanent cards. Playing Powers, Exhausting cards or generating a large combat deck does not by itself change the finishing deck count. The linked challenge routes separate acquisition, timing and failure conditions from general strategy advice.
Perfect counts qualifying boss defeats in the same run. Healing damage afterwards does not make a boss clean. Double Snecko requires both relics, rather than simply applying Confused twice.
Character and Ascension completion
Each character has its own solo Ascension progression. Completing Act 3 with one unlocks that character’s ladder; victories at the selected level open the next. Ascension 10 adds a second Act 3 boss and includes the earlier modifiers.
Multiplayer progression is separate from solo. Choose the mode that matches the goal rather than expecting a solo victory to complete every multiplayer unlock.
Timeline collection
Epochs unlock characters, cards, relics, potions and alternate content. Open newly revealed entries between runs. Their requirements distinguish playing a character from defeating a particular act.
Daily and Custom runs do not award the ordinary Epoch unlocks. Use Standard runs when a missing character or content pool is the objective. The Timeline guide lists the character chain and relevant act milestones.
