Rest-site entry trigger

Eternal Feather heals three HP for every five cards in the deck when entering a rest site. It does not require selecting Rest. After the entry recovery, you can choose Smith or another available action according to the remaining health and upcoming fights.

With exactly 20 cards, the stated effect supplies 12 HP before the action choice, subject to maximum health. That is an illustration of the printed rule, not a reason to add unwanted cards solely to enlarge the heal. Extra cards also change the hands drawn in combat.

Do not count the same recovery twice when planning an elite route. If Feather’s entry heal already makes the next fight manageable, an upgrade may become affordable. If it leaves the deck well below the health needed for the forced sequence, the presence of a healing relic does not make Rest unnecessary.

Stone Humidifier and Regal Pillow instead depend on choosing Rest. Miniature Tent changes how many available actions can be selected. Compare those different trigger points in the campfire relic guide before deciding what another rest site on the route is worth.
