End of Days’ immediate execution

In the Doom Necrobinder build, Ordinary Doom waits until the end of the affected enemy’s turn to check for death. End of Days adds Doom and performs its explicit kill check immediately. Consider an enemy at forty HP with twelve Doom. The base card adds twenty-nine, reaching forty-one Doom, then kills it during the card’s resolution. If you instead raise Doom above forty with a card that has no immediate kill instruction, the enemy normally retains its action before Doom finishes it.

Sequence damage and Doom before the check

Use damage or earlier Doom applications first when they are required to reach the threshold. Damage played after End of Days cannot retroactively change the check that already happened. You may still reach ordinary Doom lethal afterward, but that has the usual later timing.

The card applies Doom to every enemy, so compare the threshold on each target. Do not omit defense against survivors simply because one target disappears.

The upgrade raises the Doom from twenty-nine to thirty-seven. Those eight points can turn a near miss into immediate removal. Its three-Energy cost remains a substantial demand, so Soul draw and Energy generation help you find and play it when needed.

Time’s Up converts existing Doom into an attack and serves a different damage role. Compare the current enemies, their HP and Doom totals rather than treating the two rare rewards as interchangeable.
