Accuracy and Shiv count
In the Shiv Silent build, Accuracy rewards repeated Shiv hits after its setup turn. Its four additional damage per Shiv adds twelve damage to three Shivs before other modifiers. The upgrade raises that addition to eighteen. The Power is less urgent when Shiv generation is sporadic or the main problem is surviving setup. Adding Accuracy to a deck with almost no Shivs can make an early hand worse. ## Alternatives when Accuracy does not appear
Phantom Blades supports a different pattern: retain Shivs and receive a large bonus on the first one each turn. Knife Trap and attack-count relics offer other payoffs. Shuriken improves attacks through repeated attack plays; Kunai improves later defensive cards. These options can support a run without turning Accuracy into a mandatory reward.
A small Poison package can also fill a damage gap. Envenom connects attack hits to Poison, while a separate Poison card can help an encounter without requiring every card to be part of a Shiv engine. Compare the actual offered cards with the next fights rather than waiting until Act 3 for one missing Power.
Upgrade Accuracy when the deck already produces enough Shivs to multiply its two extra damage consistently. If a difficult fight begins before the Power comes into play, improving draw, discard or the opening defensive hand may be more valuable than increasing damage on later turns.
