Repeated Poison triggers
In the Poison Silent build, Accelerant repeats Poison’s trigger; it does not increase the amount applied by each Poison card. If an enemy has nine Poison, an ordinary trigger loses nine HP and reduces the stack to eight. With unupgraded Accelerant, the next trigger loses eight more HP and leaves seven Poison. The upgraded Power adds a third trigger, losing another seven HP in this example.
That makes the immediate total seventeen or twenty-four HP loss, respectively, before other effects. ## Faster damage can flatten a small stack
Accelerant is valuable when faster Poison damage kills an enemy before an attack it would otherwise take. A stable stream of fresh Poison supports that repeated damage.
A small Noxious Fumes stack can look as though it has stopped growing because extra ticks consume Poison as fast as the Power adds it. That does not mean Poison failed to trigger. Judge the HP removed and the fight’s duration, then add more Poison application if the damage is insufficient. More Accelerant cannot create Poison when the enemy has none.
Snecko Skull addresses a different part of the sequence by increasing Poison application. It complements Accelerant without replacing its effect. Apply Poison before relying on accelerated ticks, and keep ordinary defense until the actual predicted damage is lethal. Poison checks at the start of the affected creature’s turn, so it does not cancel your own earlier end-of-turn costs.
