Snecko Skull improves the Poison build most noticeably when it applies Poison repeatedly. Its bonus is 1 extra Poison per application, rather than 1 extra Poison per card or a multiplier to the entire stack.
Poison applications with Snecko Skull
Unupgraded Bouncing Flask applies 3 Poison three times. With Snecko Skull, those applications become 4 each: 12 Poison across the three bounces instead of 9, assuming the effects land. Random targeting still matters when several enemies are alive. A larger total does not guarantee that the enemy you need to kill receives every bounce.
Compare that with a card making one large application. It receives the bonus once. This distinction helps explain why repeated small applications can be valuable even when their printed total initially looks modest. Recurring Poison effects can also keep contributing without requiring the same card to be drawn every turn.
Unsettling Lamp adds a separate opening decision: which debuff card should receive its one-combat bonus? Do not spend that opportunity automatically on the first debuff in hand. Poison also needs time to kill, so a relic that improves its eventual total does not replace defense against the current attack. Keep the deck’s Block and draw working while its Poison accumulates.
