Scaling the attack
Claw increases the damage of every Claw for the current combat. Replaying a copy improves later copies as well, which makes recursion more than a way to repeat the printed base damage. The upgrade improves both its initial damage and the amount added to future Claws. That distinction matters in a fight where the card can be used several times.
Taking more Claws also occupies more reward and draw slots. A deck with several copies but no way to find, replay or defend around them can be less effective than a smaller attack package with reliable support. The number of Claws is not a substitute for a functioning turn.
Retrieval and energy
Hologram retrieves a card from discard while adding Block. All for One returns qualifying zero-cost cards from the Discard Pile to the hand. Play the attacks intended for retrieval before All for One; cards still in the Draw Pile or already Exhausted are not in the required location.
The attacks may be free, but retrieval is not. Charge Battery can help prepare energy for a following turn. TURBO supplies energy immediately and adds a Void to discard, which creates a later cost. A sequence that works once with TURBO is not automatically sustainable through repeated reshuffles.
Feral, Scrape and upgrades
Feral returns the first zero-cost Attack played each turn. Use that limited return on the attack whose second play matters most. It does not return every Claw indefinitely. Scrape finds zero-cost cards but discards drawn cards that do not meet its condition. That can put a useful Power or retrieval card out of hand instead of letting you play it now.
Hologram’s upgrade removes Exhaust, making future retrieval possible in the same combat. That can be a larger change than a small damage upgrade when the deck already has an attack worth replaying. Compare it with Claw’s improved scaling and the coming encounter’s demands.
Poor draws and pivots
A player can own several All for One copies and still draw them late. Keep an ordinary defensive turn and a useful potion rather than assuming recursion always arrives in the first hand. Go for the Eyes offers conditional Weak; Frost and draw cards can supply another layer of defense.
Once damage scales, add consistency or an answer to multiple enemies. Do not replace every card with a zero-cost Attack merely because All for One can return it.
